What do we understand under the definition of "immediate loading implants"?

Immediate loading means that the inserted implant can be charged immediately. In some exceptional cases the load has to be in a reduced way. The patient is able to eat and chew immediately after the implant has been inserted. After the implantation an immediate provisional prosthetics is placed on the implant which allows participating in any daily routine. This means that an immediate functional and aesthetic solution is created right away in order to replace the missing tooth (teeth).

After very few sessions the definite prosthetic work is placed on the implant(s). The time that is takes to finally receive your definite prosthetics depends on the laboratory schedule and the time frame needed to prepare the individualized prosthetic work. Long waiting periods which are necessary for most other implant treatments are no longer necessary with this method.
